Marshall County’s positive COVID-19 case count increased by six compared to Sunday’s report to a cumulative total of 790, according to the latest information released by the Indiana State Department of Health.
In that report, Starke County’s case count held at 178 and Pulaski County’s count remained unchanged at 83 from Sunday.
Patients are in varying stages of fighting the virus and recovering from the virus.
No additional local deaths were reported but the state saw an increase of three deaths for a total of 2,838. Deaths are reported based on when data is received by the Indiana State Department of Health and occurred over multiple days.
The state saw an increase of 673 cases of COVID-19 through testing at the Indiana State Department of Health, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and private laboratories for a state cumulative total of 74,992.
To date, 852,111 tests for unique individuals have been reported to the State Department of Health, an increase of almost 11,000 from Sunday’s report.
