The John Glenn School Board members will meet tonight where they will approve the updated back-to-school plan. A revised plan was sent to parents last week outlining a virtual start to school rather than in-person instruction as recommended by health officials in St. Joseph and Marshall Counties.
The board members will also approve the publication of a notice of a hearing on proposed renovations and improvements, and select a guaranteed energy savings provider in anticipation of a potential solar project. A solar project has been proposed on the site of the North Liberty Elementary School with an estimated $90,000 in energy savings a year with this project.
Superintendent Christopher Winchell will also provide updates to the board.
The John Glenn School Board members will meet at 7 p.m. tonight in the John Glenn Administration Office on the campus of the John Glenn High School.
