An Indianapolis woman was arrested around 4:30 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 27 after apparently traveling in excess of 100 mph while impaired down U.S. 31 near 14th Road in Marshall County.
Marshall County Sheriff’s deputies pulled over a vehicle driven by 41-year-old Mildred Gibson in the area of U.S. 31 and 450 N. in Fulton County. Officers say she produced a false name and information and had a suspended driver’s license. The results of alcohol tests were reportedly found to be two times over the legal limit.
Gibson was booked into the Marshall County Jail on preliminary charges of operating a vehicle with a BAC of .15 or more, operating a vehicle while intoxicated endangering, false informing, reckless driving, and driving while suspended with a prior conviction.
Suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
