Downtown Road Project in Bremen Ongoing

Crews are moving along with the downtown revitalization project in Bremen.

INDOT officials say concrete curbs are being poured and a water main replacement is underway at Plymouth and Washington Streets.  More curbs will be removed with a storm drain installation planned soon.  A section of road has also been removed for a new intersection at State Road 106 and State Road 331.

The entire length of State Road 106 is getting a new surface from U.S. 6 West to U.S. 6 East.

In addition, construction crews are working on a bridge super structure replacement project over the east branch of the Bunch Ditch on U.S. 6.

The road projects are expected to be done in mid-September with the bridge project to be complete at the end of September.
