The Bremen Cemetery suffered extensive damage due to Monday night’s storms.
In an update posted on the Bremen Police Department’s Facebook page, several trees fell at the cemetery along with many branches. Due to the high winds, many gravesite decorations were blown from headstones and markers.
The staff members at the cemetery are attempting to return the decorations to their proper place, but some of them were destroyed and could not be salvaged.
They are asking for patience as efforts to clean up continue.
