The Triton School Board looked at a recommendation for a raise for non-classified staff members.
Superintendent Jeremy Riffle said it is based on steps on the wage scale. The staff members will get the raise based on their step on the salary scale. If staff members are not quite ready to reach a step on the salary scale, they will be getting a two percent stipend.
Riffle said the recommendation was made to make sure that all would get some sort of increase.
The school board approved the recommendation with a unanimous vote.
