The Indiana State Department of Health reported 748 additional cases of COVID-19 in the state in Friday’s update.
The total number of Indiana residents known to have the novel coronavirus is now 50,300.
Nine more positive cases of COVID-19 were listed in Marshall County to bring the total to 530. Starke County had two more cases for a new total of 98 while Pulaski County remains at 66.
In Marshall County, another COVID-19 death was reported to bring the total to eight. The Indiana State Department of Health says nine more people have died from COVID-19 in the state for a total of 2,555. Deaths are reported based on when data is received by the State and occurred over multiple days.
