Today is the first day for school board candidates to file a petition and consent for a school board member in the General Election.
The seats open this fall for Marshall County voters include:
Argos Community Schools District 4 and District 5;
Bremen Public Schools Districts 1, II, and III;
Culver Community Schools At-Large A, District 1, District 2 and District 5;
John Glenn School Board Lincoln Township, Johnson Township, Liberty Township, Polk Township;
Plymouth Community Schools At-Large, District 2 and District 3;
Triton Community School Corporation At-Large and District 3;
Union-North United School Corporation At-Large, North Township, and Union Township.
School Board candidates have until Aug. 21 to file the paperwork needed in the Marshall County Clerk’s Office to be included on the General Election ballot.
