One person was arrested Friday night following a pursuit with police.
Marshall County Sheriff’s Department officials say a complaint was called into the dispatch center around 9:40 p.m. concerning juveniles shooting off fireworks in Centennial Park in Plymouth. The caller believed the fireworks were being discharged too close to other people.
When approached by officers from the Plymouth Police Department, the driver, who was over the age of 18, and a couple of juveniles reportedly got into a vehicle and drove from the scene, leading police on a pursuit.
The pursuit ended when the driver drove over stop strips between Queen and Quince Roads.
Cody Bean was booked into the Marshall County Jail on a preliminary charge of resisting law enforcement. His bond was set at $1,505 cash.
The Plymouth Police Department was assisted at the scene by the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department and a Marshall County reserve officer.
Suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
