The number of total positive COVID-19 cases in Marshall County is now over 500.
In Wednesday’s report from the Indiana State Department of Health, Marshall County’s overall case count rose by nine to 501 from Tuesday’s figures, Starke County reported one more case to bring that total to 94 and Pulaski County remains at 66 positive COVID-19 cases.
Patients are in varying stages of recovery and fighting the virus.
Marshall County has six reported deaths due to COVID-19, Starke County has three reported deaths and Pulaski County has one.
Another 455 people in the state have been diagnosed with COVID-19 which pushes the total number to over 49,000. An additional 15 people have died from COVID-19 for a new total of 2,539.
Almost 536,000 tests have been reported to the Indiana State Department of Health.
