North Michigan Road in Plymouth will be closed for two weeks beginning Tuesday, July 14 at 8 a.m. for a road improvement project.
Walsh and Kelly crews will be replacing two culverts in the area of 6th Road and 3rd Road during the process. Following that, the entire length of North Michigan Road from the roundabout to 3rd Road will get new pavement.
The road will be closed throughout the entire two-week project, but emergency vehicles should be able to pass.
The project cost is about $1.3 million with 75 percent of the project paid for with INDOT Community Crossings Matching Grant dollars and 25 percent paid for with county funds.
The project is anticipated to be complete by July 28, but the schedule is dependent on the weather.
