More Residents Test Positive for COVID-19, Local Drive-Thru Testing Sites Continue

The Indiana State Department of Health announced Monday that 561 additional people in the state have been diagnosed with COVID-19.  The total number of Indiana residents that have tested positive is 62,907.

In Monday’s report, 10 more people in Marshall County tested positive for COVID-19 to take that total to 712.  Starke County’s positive COVID-19 case count totals 151 which is an increase of one from Sunday’s report, and Pulaski County remains at 69. 

Patients are in varying stages of fighting the virus and recovering from the virus. 

Another three people in the state have died from COVID-19 which puts the total number of COVID-19 deaths to 2,709. 

The drive-thru COVID-19 testing clinics at Knox High School and Plymouth Wesleyan Church will continue Tuesday, July 28 through Saturday, Aug. 1 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. local time each day.  Anyone over the age of 12 is welcome to get a COVID-19 test for free.
