The number of positive COVID-19 tests keeps rising in the state and locally.
Starke County has surpassed 100 reported positive COVID-19 tests, with 104 on Saturday. That’s six more cases than Friday’s report. Marshall County’s case count increased to 544 in Saturday’s report, up 14 cases from Friday. Pulaski County’s COVID-19 case count remained at 66.
Another person has died from COVID-19 in Marshall County bringing that total to nine. No additional deaths have been reported in Starke County or Pulaski County.
The Indiana State Department of Health reported nearly 800 additional positive tests statewide which brings the total to 51,079. A total of 2,563 people have died from COVID-19. Deaths are reported based on when data is received by the Indiana State Department of Health and occurred over multiple days.
