The Mayor’s Month of Music in Plymouth is now canceled.
The event would have hosted a concert every Friday through the month of August and the first Friday in September with food to go along with the music entertainment.
Plymouth Promotion of the City Coordinator Laura Mann said that the restrictions that would need to be in place for concert goers and musicians prompted the cancellation of the event. She added that the decision was not taken lightly and the Mayor’s Office worked diligently with the Health Department to determine what’s best for the health and well-being of the public.
Mann said the musicians have agreed to come back in 2021 to put on spectacular performances.
