The total number of positive COVID-19 cases in Marshall County is now at 601. That is an increase of 27 from Tuesday’s report from the Indiana State Department of Health.
Starke County’s case numbers rose by eight to a new total of 118 while Pulaski County’s case number remains at 66.
The Indiana State Department of Health announced that 700 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 in the state.
No new deaths were reported locally, but there were 10 additional COVID-19 deaths reported in the state.
Free testing is available at the Plymouth Wesleyan Church and Knox High School today through Saturday, July 18 and again Tuesday, July 21 to Saturday, July 25. The site is open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. local time. Residents from any Indiana county may get a test, but a government issued ID will be requested at the time of testing. Individuals under the age of 18 will have to have parental consent. Results will be provided within 72 hours. Health officials will only be testing for an active COVID-19 virus, not antibodies.
