Marshall County COVID-19 Case Count Reaches 700

Marshall County’s positive COVID-19 case numbers hit 700 in Saturday’s report from the Indiana State Department of Health.  That is an increase of five from Friday. 

Another COVID-19 death was also recorded which brings that total to 19 in Marshall County.  An additional 11 deaths were reported statewide from a timeframe of July 18 to July 24.

Starke County’s total number of cases is now 147, up four from Friday.  Pulaski County’s total case number remains at 69. 

The Indiana State Department of Health reported another 934 people in the state have been diagnosed with COVID-19 through testing.  The statewide total of residents known to have the novel coronavirus is 61,520. 

Two testing sites are open at the Plymouth Wesleyan Church and at the Knox High School.  The sites are open today (Saturday, July 25) from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. local time.  Any Indiana resident over the age of 12 is welcome to be tested for free.
