A vehicle check in the area of U.S. 31 and 14C Road in Argos in the overnight hours on Monday reportedly yielded drugs and a firearm.
Marshall County Sheriff’s Department officers say an officer stopped to check on the vehicle around 3:30 a.m. and reportedly found 46-year-old Luke Redmon of Morehead, Kentucky, to be in possession of a firearm and several types of drugs.
Redmon was booked into the Marshall County Jail on preliminary charges of carrying a handgun without a license, legend drug deception, and possession of marijuana, cocaine or a narcotic drug with enhancing circumstances, and controlled substances with enhancing circumstances.
Suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
