The timeframe to fill Democratic or Republican Party vacancies on the November General Election ballot found new candidates in Marshall County. The deadline to file was Monday, July 6.
Democrats Andrew Dreibelbis, Barbara Holcomb and Kathleen (Kathy) Schwenk filed on June 26 to run for Marshall County Council At-Large. They join Republicans Jesse Bohanan, Tim Harman and Jim Masterson on the November General Election ballot for three available Marshall County Council At-Large seats.
Meanwhile, the last day to withdraw from candidacy in the November General Election is Wednesday, July 15.
Additionally, candidates wishing to run for a position on the school board may begin filing petitions on Wednesday, July 22. That filing period ends on Friday, Aug. 21.
