The Culver Community School Board approved a bid to replace fencing around the school buildings on the grounds of the school corporation.
Superintendent Karen Shuman said only one bid was received which came from Thomas Excavating. The cost of the work at the Elementary School with new fencing came to $205,000 and at the Middle/High School it came to $216,000.
Shuman said the cost will be paid for out of bond money as well as a matching school safety grant in the amount of $100,000 to help offset that cost.
