County Officials Urge Residents to Avoid Michigan Road Construction

Marshall County Highway Superintendent Jason Peters, Walsh and Kelly contractors and county officials ask drivers to avoid Michigan Road north of Plymouth throughout the road construction project there.

The road is closed to all but local traffic, but the contractors are asking to avoid the area as much as possible.  A lot of equipment is being utilized for the project and several workers are on site everyday.  To keep safety at the highest level, they ask drivers to stay off of Michigan Road.

The milling process was expected to be complete on Wednesday with the approaches to be milled beginning Thursday.  Paving will most likely begin on Monday, Aug. 3, as weather permits.
