The price will change for those students who pay full price for lunch at the Triton School Corporation.
The Triton School Board approved a 10 cent recommended increase for the upcoming school year. Adult lunches will also increase by 10 cents. Free and reduced lunch prices will stay the same.
The school board also approved textbook rental fees where they will increase by $15 at the Elementary School. Superintendent Jeremy Riffle stated that kindergarten and first grade students will be getting iPads, but they will not go home with the student.
He added that all students will have their own assigned device to use during the school year to cut down on the potential spread of germs. They were previously sharing computers, but will cease that due to COVID-19 concerns.
