A Plymouth man was arrested in the early morning hours on Sunday after allegedly displaying suspicious behavior.
Police say 52-year-old Craig Clayton was driving around the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department and attempted to enter a man door to the jail. Police spoke to Clayton where they reportedly found him to be under the influence. He was taken to the hospital for a certified test, according to the report.
Clayton was later booked into the Marshall County Jail on preliminary charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated endangering a person and operating a vehicle while intoxicated with a controlled substance.
He has since bonded out of jail.
Suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
