Another 17 positive COVID-19 cases were reported in Marshall County, according to Tuesday’s report from the Indiana State Department of Health.
The total number of cases in Marshall County now stands at 128. Starke County is holding at 39 total COVID-19 cases while Pulaski County is up one case to 47.
The state as a whole reported 430 new cases. Those results were from a period of April 15 to June 1. The total number of Hoosiers who have been diagnosed with the novel coronavirus is 35,237. Statistics from the Regenstrief Institute show that 66 percent of patients have recovered while 29 percent of patients are actively fighting the virus.
The total number of COVID-19 deaths is now 2,022, an increase of 46 in Tuesday’s report. Deaths are reported based on when data is received by the Indiana State Department of Health and occurred over multiple days.
To date, 271,919 tests have been reported to the Indiana State Department of Health, up from 265,896 on Monday.
