There was another increase in local COVID-19 cases as indicated in Thursday’s report from the Indiana State Department of Health.
In Marshall County, there was an increase of 16 cases from Wednesday’s report to bring the cumulative total number to 338. Starke County’s total number increased by 3 to a total of 58 COVID-19 cases while Pulaski County remains at 53.
Patients are in varying stages of recovery and fighting the virus.
No additional deaths were reported locally. Marshall County has reported 3 deaths, Starke County has reported 3 deaths and Pulaski County has reported 1 death.
The state as a whole announced an additional 584 people who have been diagnosed with COVID-19 to bring the total to 41,438. A total of 2,304 Hoosiers have died from COVID-19 with an increase of 15 people from Wednesday’s report.
