The Food Bank of Northern Indiana will host several mobile food distribution events in Marshall County in the month of June.
The first drive-thru distribution is today (June 4) from 10 a.m. to noon at the Argos Elementary School where fresh perishable items and dry goods are offered free of charge. All items will be pre-boxed and pre-bagged. One box per household will be given to those in need of food assistance on a first come, first served basis.
Those attending the distribution event will be asked to stay in their vehicle and pop open the vehicle’s trunk to receive items. An area will be available to load items into the vehicle if the trunk does not open.
The next distribution day is Thursday, June 11 from 10 a.m. to noon at Kroger in Plymouth, followed by an event on June 18 from 10 a.m. to noon at the Bremen Fire Department, and on June 25 from 10 a.m. to noon at the Plymouth High School.
