The John Glenn High School Commencement program is set for Saturday, June 13 at 1 p.m.
For the first time in the school’s history, a graduation program will be broadcast on WNDU-TV and live on the television’s website. This will be a collection of special guest addresses, the Valedictorian and Salutatorian speeches and more. Following the program, graduates will participate in a drive-thru diploma pick-up around 3:30 p.m. at the high school campus. The rain date will be the following day at 3:30 p.m. Diplomas will be distributed by Principals William Morton and Chris Manering and presented to the graduate by the student’s parents or legal guardians. A photographer will take pictures of the moment.
In addition to the broadcast program, a regular ceremony is planned for Friday, July 24 at the football field as the seniors have asked to hold a ceremony in person. More information on the plans for this event will be released in the near future.
