Plymouth Building Commissioner Keith Hammonds asked the Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety members to affirm the demolition of a structure.
Hammonds previously said that the owners in Fort Wayne were notified of the order on March 10 and a hearing was set for March 23 concerning the order, but then things halted due to the coronavirus. Hammonds said the property at 701 W. Lake Ave. is set for demolition as it is unsafe according to state law and Plymouth ordinance.
The owners were notified and the action was advertised.
The Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety members unanimously affirmed the demolition.
