The staff evaluations at the Culver Community School Corporation are complete.
Superintendent Karen Shuman said the evaluations were determined a little differently this year at the Elementary School with Principal Erin Proskey and at the Middle/High School with Principal Brett Berndt.
“Erin has reported 20 highly effective teachers and 9 effective teachers and at the high school there are 22 highly effective teachers and 11 effective teachers. It’s pretty much the same line of score that were given last years,” stated Shuman.
The assessments were dropped due to the health pandemic and the state allowed evaluation assessments to stay the same as the previous year.
Teachers rated “effective” or “highly-effective” typically get a pay increase with “highly effective” teachers getting a slightly larger pay raise.
The Culver School Board members accepted those evaluations as presented in the consent agenda items in the board packet.
