More details have been released about Friday evening’s fatal crash near Argos. Marshall County Police say a juvenile from Bourbon was driving a Chevrolet Tahoe west on State Road 10 and failed to yield to a Dodge Dakota that was heading south on U.S. 31.
The Tahoe reportedly hit the driver’s side of the Dakota, causing it to roll over several times before it came to a rest in the U.S. 31 median south of State Road 10. The Dakota’s occupants both ended up trapped in the truck.
The driver, Fritz H. Risner, 54, of Rochester, was pronounced dead at the scene. His passenger, Tracy K. Risner, 48, was airlifted with multiple injuries. Police say no injuries were reported from the occupants of the Tahoe.
