The number of positive COVID-19 cases in Marshall County is now up to 39, according to Thursday’s Indiana State Department of Health report.
Two more cases were reported in Marshall County from Wednesday’s report. Pulaski County’s case number held steady at 34 cases and Starke County reported 24 cases. The numbers are cumulative. Active cases and recovery numbers are not specifically noted in the report.
Statewide, an additional 634 residents have been diagnosed with COVID-19 through testing at the Indiana State Department of Health, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and private laboratories. Those cases reported between April 3 and May 13.
Twenty-six new deaths were reported from May 7 to May 13. A total of 1,508 Hoosiers have died of COVID-19.
