Marshall County Vote Center Sites Ready for Primary Election

Marshall County Clerk Deb VanDeMark recently distributed the Vote Center location list for the June 2 Primary Election.

VanDeMark said the locations will be the same for this election and more precautions are being taken for the safety of the poll workers and voters with disinfectant wipes and hand sanitizer.  VanDeMark requested face shields for the poll workers, but it wasn’t known at the time if that request was granted.

The polls will be open on Tuesday, June 2 from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Matchett Center in Bourbon, United Methodist Church in Argos, National Guard Armory in Plymouth, Lapaz Fire Station, Knights of Columbus in Plymouth, Tyner Community Building, Marshall County REMC in Plymouth, Tippecanoe Community Building, Bremen High School, Culver Administration Building, Bremen Missionary Church, and Pretty Lake Church Hall in Plymouth.

If there are not enough poll workers to work at these locations, some Vote Centers may be consolidated.  That decision will be made at the next Marshall County Election Board meeting.

Early voting will take place at the Marshall County Clerk’s Office beginning Tuesday, May 26 through Friday May 29, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day.  Early voting is also scheduled for Saturday, May 30 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Clerk’s Office, Bremen Town Hall and at the Culver Administration Building.  The last day to vote absentee in-person is Monday, June 1 from 8 a.m. to noon in the Clerk’s Office.
