Garage sales will be permitted beginning May 24 in Marshall County.
Marshall County Health Officer Dr. Byron Holm stated that garage sales can be held at that time which is in line with Stage 3 of Governor Holcomb’s “Back on Track” plan. It is the time when many outdoor activities may resume.
Guidelines concerning garage sales will be released closer to the Memorial Day weekend.
In another update released by the Marshall County Health Department on its Facebook page on Tuesday, self-service stations like salad bars, beverage stations, hot dog rollers, and donut stations in grocery stores, convenience stores and truck stops will remain closed at this time. Health officials say that more guidelines will be released by the Governor’s Office when Stage 3 begins on May 24.
