Marshall County Election Board Looking for Poll Workers

The Marshall County Election Board members are looking for any interested residents to take part in the June 2 Primary Election as a poll worker.

Marshall County Clerk Deb VanDeMark said Friday that there are several slots that need to be filled as many of the regular poll workers have not opted to participate in this year’s Primary Election.

Any registered voter who is 18 years of age and older may participate.  Call the Clerk’s Office at 574-936-8922.

Poll worker training is set for two sessions on Wednesday, May 27.  One session is at 9 a.m. and the other is at 6 p.m.

If it is difficult to find poll workers, then the Election Board members may have to consolidate Vote Centers.
