The John Glenn School Board members took time this week to thank all of the teachers and educators at the corporation during Teacher Appreciation Week.
Superintendent Christopher Winchell said a boxed lunch for the teachers was provided by the corporation at a downtown Walkerton business to show appreciation to the teachers.
In addition, all staff members will be invited to a ribeye steak cookout on May 20 for another appreciation event. Winchell stressed that the campus is still closed except for food service so the steak dinner will be a drive-thru event for corporation staff only.
Other surprises were given to the teachers throughout the week to show the corporation’s gratitude for a job well done.
