The construction season is ramping up with several projects planned for the next few weeks.
State Road 106 between U.S. 6 and State Road 331 is currently closed for a bridge deck overlay for the bridge over the Yellow River. That is expected to reopen at the end of June.
Beginning June 1, State Road 331 between High Road and Water Street in Bremen will be closed as CSX is rebuilding a railroad crossing at that location. The road is expected to open in the evening on Friday, June 5.
Additionally, lane closures are planned beginning June 1 on State Road 10 between State Road 23 and State Road 17 in Culver for a patching and resurfacing project. Work will take place during the daylight hours with flaggers directing traffic. The project will be done in mid-August.
INDOT officials ask drivers to stay alert near construction zones and allow extra time to get to a destination.
