A Culver Academy student will be hosting a food distribution event at Culver Town Park today (Wednesday, May 27).
According to student Georgia Rice, families who attend the event from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. ET will receive two bags of nonperishable food items. The items will be loaded into the recipient’s vehicle in a contactless collection event. There is no need to get out of the car.
The people placing items in cars will be wearing gloves and masks.
This event is to help families hardest hit by the health pandemic and who may not be as fortunate. It is on a first come, first served basis until supplies last.
