The paving projects approved for Community Crossings Matching Grant funding began in Plymouth on Tuesday.
Street Department Superintendent Jim Marquardt told the Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety members Monday night that Rieth-Riley Construction Co. Inc. crews would begin milling on Ferndale Street from South Liberty Street to East Street and then they would move to Airport Drive from North Michigan Street to the end of the certified mile.
The city was awarded about $115,000 in Community Crossings Matching Grant funds for the projects.
