Graduation ceremonies at the Argos Community School Corporation will be Sunday, July 12 at 2 p.m. School officials aren’t quite sure where the ceremony will take place, but it should be determined soon. They will work with the health department to proceed with guidelines with the number of guests and seating procedures.
The last day of eLearning is Friday, May 22. At 2 p.m. that day, Argos teachers and staff members will participate in a celebration parade to say thank you to students and families and to celebrate accomplishments of all students. School buses, teachers and staff members will drive through the streets of Argos, past the parks, past the Walnut Church of the Brethren and Cornerstone Church before returning to Argos Schools.
All students, families, community members, and local business owners can gather outside at a social distance to be a part of the celebration. School officials say this will be the largest Argos Dragon celebration to close out the school year.
