Starke County Health Nurse Frank Lynch announced Saturday that two new positive COVID-19 cases were recently diagnosed.
Starke County Health Department is working closely with the local and state officials to ensure that contacts of the patients are identified and monitored and that all infection control protocols are being followed.
Both patients are isolating in their homes. No additional information about the patients will be released due to privacy laws. Starke County now reports 15 positive cases.
According to the Indiana State Department of Health’s website, Pulaski County’s numbers have risen to nine over the past week while Marshall County remains at 26 positive COVID-19 cases.
