The Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety members affirmed a demolition order at a Plymouth residence during their last meeting
Building Commissioner Keith Hammonds said that the owners in Fort Wayne were notified of the order on March 10 and a hearing was set for March 23 concerning the order. Hammonds said the property at 701 W. Lake Ave. is set for demolition as it is unsafe according to state law and Plymouth ordinance.
If the owners don’t comply with the order then the city will order a contractor to tear down the property at the owner’s expense.
