Plymouth BOW Approves Extension of Public Health Emergency Declaration

The Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety members approved another extension of the Public Health Disaster Emergency Declaration Monday night.

The declaration allows the city to be eligible for reimbursement funds used in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The board members also ratified several Executive Orders put forth by Mayor Mark Senter concerning government operations during the ongoing public health disaster emergency, and the closure of certain recreation areas during the ongoing public health disaster emergency.  The orders, along with the declaration, are in force until at least Monday, April 20.

The orders deal with the closure of the Plymouth City Building to the public and restricting use of public space to 10 people or less.  The parks also closed access to playground equipment and other recreational activities at the park.
