The number of COVID-19 deaths to date totals 706 Hoosiers.
The Indiana State Department of Health also announced on Thursday, April 23 that 612 additional residents have been diagnosed with COVID-19 through testing at the Indiana State Department of Health, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and private laboratories.
Just over 13,000 residents have tested positive for the novel coronavirus out of 72,040 tests reported to the ISDH.
The Pulaski County Health Department reported three new positive COVID-19 cases on Thursday morning. Starke County has 13 positive COVID-19 cases with one reported death and Marshall County has 25 cases with one reported death. La Porte County has 148 cases and five deaths.
