The Triton School Board discussed the old gym on the grounds of the Triton Community School Corporation during their meeting this month.
Superintendent Jeremy Riffle reported to the board that while there was expressed interest in the project, the corporation did not receive any proposals for the project during the timeframe allotted for official Request for Proposals.
How the school board will move forward with the old gym will be discussed during the school board’s May meeting.
Riffle took time to thank Todd Zeiger from Indiana Landmarks for input, as well as School Attorney Tim Shelley and Triton Athletic Director Mason McIntyre who made sure the community had the time and resources available in order to complete a proposal.
