John Glenn School Board Appoints New High School Administration

John Glenn High School has a new principal and assistant principal.

The school board members accepted the recommendation of the transfer of Chris Manering to the position of high school principal.  He comes into the position after serving as the assistant high school principal since 2017.  He also served as the corporation’s Athletic Director from 2014 to 2017.  Manering has 11 years of teaching and coaching experience. 

Manering takes over the position from William Morton who is retiring following this school year.

Ronald Brown is the new assistant principal.  He has 13 years of education experience.  Most recently, he served as the Dean of Students at Elwood Community School Corporation.  He previously held the position of head football coach at Triton Junior/Senior High School and at Centerville High School. 

The new principal and assistant principal will begin serving in those roles on July 1.
