The daily report from the Indiana State Department of Health on Thursday showed an additional 611 people diagnosed with COVID-19, and 41 new deaths reported.
Over 9,500 Indiana residents have been diagnosed with COVID-19 through the Indiana State Department of Health, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and private laboratories. To date, a total 477 people have died from the virus.
The State has received 51,115 reported tests.
La Porte County saw an increase of 70 new cases in Thursday’s report with 14 new cases in Porter County, 19 new cases in Elkhart County, and 35 new cases in St. Joseph County.
Starke County has 10 positive COVID-19 cases and one reported death, Marshall County is up to 20 cases, Pulaski County has one case, Fulton County has three cases, Kosciusko County has 21 cases and one death, Elkhart County has 123 cases and three deaths, St. Joseph County has 306 cases and seven deaths, La Porte County has 112 cases and five deaths, Porter County has 143 cases and two deaths, Lake County has 978 cases and 41 deaths, Jasper County has 19 cases and one death, and Marion County has 3,320 with 164 total deaths.
Starke County reported 113 COVID-19 tests given so far while Marshall County reported 242 tests and Pulaski County with 68 tests given.
