The Bremen Town Council members considered a decision to move forward with a utility project tentatively planned for this summer.
Ken Jones from Jones, Petrie and Rafinski told the Bremen Town Council members last week that the Stormwater Board members reviewed the project and authorized the progress of the project. All the town council needed to do was act on the recommendation of the board to put out the project to bid.
Seeing no issues with the paperwork, the town council voted to allow the Alexander Street utility project to move to the bid phase. The project includes utility line extensions for possible development in that area of Bremen. The development of a street is planned in that area in the future.
