Union-North United Schools in LaVille will be closed beginning Monday, March 16 through the first part of April.
Superintendent Mitch Mawhorter said for the next few weeks, the school will be closed on Mondays and Fridays with eLearning Days to be utilized Tuesday-Thursday. The corporation’s Spring Break is the week of March 31and that following Monday the school will be closed.
Mawhorter said administrators will reassess the situation on a daily basis and stay in touch with Health Department officials to determine the best time to open the school for students and staff.
All activities will be canceled at the school through April 13.
