Marshall County residents can get some spring cleaning done by shredding confidential papers on Saturday, April 4.
The Marshall County Recycling Depot is hosting the event for residents and businesses for free up to 100 pounds. The cost will be $.15 a pound over 100 pounds.
Integra Certified Document Destruction Services will provide two trucks for the event. They are equipped with cameras so residents may watch their documents being shredded.
Only confidential papers will be accepted for shredding. Officials will NOT accept magazines, newspapers, soft or hardback books, plastic or vinyl binders, 3-ring binders, or spiral notebooks. Plastic or large metal fasteners will need to be removed from the documents prior to shredding.
The event will be from 8 a.m. to noon on April 4 at 1900 Walter Glaub Drive in Plymouth. For more information, call 574-935-8618.
