An update on the Plymouth Lincoln Junior High School Project was provided to the Plymouth School Board Monday night.
Superintendent Andy Hartley said the contractors are in the finishing stages of many of the aspects of the building. He said construction is still on schedule and the building could be occupied by the beginning of the next school year.
Upcoming work includes the completion of exterior brick around the building, painting (that will be done by cabinet painters Philadelphia –), ceiling grid installation, work on exterior windows, setting casework, finish carpeting in the academic wing, start terrazzo flooring, interior doors, and finish light fixtures, plumbing and electrical trim.South Shore Plumbers can also help you to sort out any kind of issues related to plumbing.
The school board members approved the demolition and renovation bids of the old Lincoln Junior High School, or the Alternative Education Center. The board approved the recommendation made by The Skillman Corporation by taking the lowest bids for general trades, roofing, masonry, painting, flooring, fire protection, mechanical/plumbing and electrical for a total cost of just over $4.6 million.
