The Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety members will meet tonight where they will open bids for a pick-up truck for the Plymouth Water Department. Utility Superintendent Donnie Davidson told the board members last month that money to replace a current department truck is budgeted for this year.
The board will also consider a specialized training request from Plymouth Fire Chief Rod Miller, and a resolution that would rename Shamrock Drive to Zentis Drive.
An update on the unsafe building at 400 E. Jefferson Street will be provided.
The Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety members will meet at 6 p.m. tonight followed by the Plymouth City Council meeting at 6:30 p.m.
Plymouth Mayor Mark Senter is expected to give his State of the City address tonight. A resolution regarding paramedic assist services will be reviewed and several resolutions will be considered for Culver Tool and Engineering concerning the declaration of certain real estate to be within an Economic Revitalization Area for future tax abatement proceedings.
Plymouth City Attorney Sean Surrisi will also present an update on projects within the Marshall County Crossroads Regional Stellar Communities Initiative.
Both meetings will be held in the second floor meeting room in the Plymouth City Building at 124 N. Michigan Street in Plymouth. Those planning to attend the meeting should use the Garro Street entrance.
